I offer relaxed, personalised drum lessons designed to make you feel completely at home in my studio. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to build on your existing skills, we’ll tailor each session to suit your goals—whether that’s preparing for gradings, learning fun grooves to jam with friends, or exploring different styles while playing along to music.

My approach is all about finding what works best for us—lessons should be enjoyable, practical, and inspiring. I’m always open to song suggestions and love working with students on their own beats or original ideas.

Having spent most of my drumming life writing and performing original material, I bring that creative mindset into my teaching. While we’ll cover all the essential techniques and foundations, I believe learning should feel musical and meaningful. You won’t spend your whole lesson drilling paradiddles—you’ll be playing music that gets you excited to practice.

I work with students of all ages, from 6 to 52 and beyond, and welcome drummers from beginner to intermediate level. Whoever you are, and wherever you're starting from—you’re welcome here.

I also offer gradings, mainly through Trinity so if this is something you are interested in then we can also look into that for you. We are able to submit the exams digitally which has certainly been a big factor in the uptake of graded exams within my student base.
